Our client, an international company active in several sectors globally, is looking for an Intellectual Property & Licensing Manager who will work closely with the board of directors in their decision making related to the development of the company and the smooth running of activities.

Responsibilities :

  • responsible for all IP matters of the portfolio and handling IP related aspects of a wide variety of transactional matters
  • Manage IP infringement cases and combat piracy in all regions.
  • Contribute where necessary to IP activities with cross-functional ramifications (due diligence, litigation) and IP policy work.
  • Advising the business and enforcing IP rights as appropriate
  • Work with customs agencies globally on seizures and other anti-counterfeiting activities.
  • Provide legal advice and support on unfair competition and privacy issues.
  • Assist with all aspects of international and domestic trademark filing, prosecution and maintenance

Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in a brand protection/IP role with a global brand.
  • A strong understanding of IP law, including anti-counterfeiting and copyright
  • A strong understanding of enforcement, preferably with some corporate business experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in working with Law Enforcement Agencies as well as other organizations.
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Ability to manage a small team
  • You are fluent in English and any other languages will be considered as a strong assets
  • Open to travel (less than 10% of the time)
