Key Responsibilities

Support the Governance Manager in the execution, delivery and communication of the Risks and Internal Controls Strategy through:

Internal Controls

• Maintaining the Chart of authority documentation of the 3 different legal entities in scope and ensuring its compliance
• Implementation Coordinator for SBFE led Internal Audit - support the designing, implementation, monitoring and reporting of the action plans implementation on weaknesses identified during Internal Audits
• Testing and monitoring on a routine basis the proper working of different measures of Internal Controls including execution of monthly manual and automated controls
• Ownership of the monthly Internal Controls scorecard/ KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of key internal controls
• Managing SAP accesses of users in line with job descriptions and avoiding SOD conflicts. Support in the execution of SAP Monthly access reviews with the Regional IT and GRC teams
• Drive the Internal Controls self-assessment for Belgium & Poland.
• Validate Internal Controls remediation plan in case of deficiency.
• Impart Internal Controls training programme, along with the Governance Manager for the business process owners
• Be a business partner for Process Owners in Belgium & Poland to help in designing efficient and lean controls.
• Annually perform the Management testing of the Controls included in the External J-Sox scope and reporting to SBFE/SBF
• Internal Controls representative for the ABC, Ethics and Compliance Committee of Poland and Belgium
• Engagement in potential fraud investigations
• Serve as a backup for the Governance Manager
• Active interaction with Internal Controls Trainee

Risk Management

• Responsible for facilitating and leading the Risk Management process in Belgium & Poland
• Maintenance of the Risk Register for Belgium and Poland and ensuring that the action plans are identified and executed

  Building Teams &Developing People: Track record of a team player and building strong working relationships internally. Demonstrating ability to train, develop direct and indirect teams and spread awareness of the importance and relevance of internal controls and risk
• Communication: Strong ability to communicate clearly and credibly with internal stakeholders.
• Willing to adapt quickly to change andleading change: Capable of identifying and driving change/improvement whilst bringing Key Stakeholders on board
• Rigorous, efficient, controls minded with attention to detail and accuracy
• Graduate in Finance and Accounting with prior experience (3-5 years) in Internal Controls and Risk Management
• Experience in fast paced, dynamic company(s), with international focus - FMCG sector experience highly desirable
• Mastery of SAP modules and office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is highly desired.
• Ability to produce high-quality, relevant presentations for Senior Leaders
• Knowledge of SAP access request management would be a plus.
• Fluent in English & French - verbal and writing. Polish is a plus
• Willingness to travel to our offices in Warsaw and Amsterdam
