As an IT Systems Engineer, you ensure the smooth operation of the IT infrastructure at PlanningForce’s premises and at client sites.

Role of IT Systems Engineer @ PlanningForce

You are in charge of the followings tasks and activities

  • Customer technical installations PlanningForce
    – Management of external servers (hosting)
    – Installation and updates of PlanningForce components in the customers’ environment
    – Monitoring and technical guards
  • Management of the servers, the network and the computers
    – Installation and configuration of hardware and software
    – Setup and management of user accounts and licenses
    – Management of servers and (installations, backups, etc.) and server room infrastructure (racks, air cooling, etc.)
    – Management of the VOIP telephony (hardware and software)
    – Monitoring, technical guards
    – Incident Management

Your background

  • You have a bachelor or a master or equivalent by experience
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar function
  • You are organized, structured and rigorous
  • You have an excellent analytical mind
  • You speak English fluently and French

Your technical skills

You have excellent skills in the following areas:

  • Networking: Firewall, Private Cloud, SSL, IPsec, VPN, VoIP services, Internet protocols (DNS, HTTP/Https, SMTP/IMAP), Rancher
  • Microsoft: Active Directory, Windows Server 2012+, Terminal Services, Azure Active Directory
  • Linux: CentOS
  • Virtualization: Docker, VmWare

You have good skills in the following areas:

  • Storage: SAN networks (iSCSI / Fiber channel), backup & recovery
  • Maven, Git, Jenkins
  • Sharepoint / Google drive
  • SQL Server
