As Junior Security Concepts Engineer you will participate in overall security of NXP’s next secure element platform for mobile payments and IoT. You will be part of multidisciplinary teams to develop Security Concepts as part of our Long Term Innovation roadmap.

Your team

You will be part of an enthusiastic team of experienced engineers who are involved in Security Concepts. This team is responsible for developing security concepts for all BL’s in NXP. The team (about 26 fte) is spread across the globe.

Your profile

To be successful in this role you have:

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or equivalent field.
• Knowledge about (cyber)security or cryptography is a significant plus.
• Knowledge of embedded platforms and working at a level close to the HW is preferred.
• Good to have past experience on networking protocols.
• Hands on with good programming skills in (embedded) C.

Furthermore, you have:

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good team player skills and good interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and cross functional skills.
• Persistent in problem solving in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English language (verbal and written).

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity as well.
