DescriptionENGIE Laborelec is a leading expertise and research centre in electrical power and sustainable technology. Power & Infra Business Line
The Power & Infra Business Line is responsible for the sales, growth and delivery of Laborelec’s activities towards the Power Generation industry and Grid operators in Europe.
It offers, manages and realizes multidisciplinary projects leveraging the expertise and services from other expert teams of Laborelec, entities of the group ENGIE or external parties.
This includes products, technical assistance and applied research related to the energy value chain.
It is our goal to position Laborelec’s’ activities as a technical solution provider within the complete electrical supply value chain. Our customers expect us to accompany them in the energy transition and come up with solutions and services accordingly.
A particular important group of customers are the operators of the electricity and gas transmission and distribution networks. These Grid operators rely on Laborelec for applied research, our technical expertise and specialized lab support. To strengthen our team, ENGIE Laborelec is looking for a Key account Manager Grids in Belux.
Your mission
- Focus on growing and developing existing customers, together with generating new business opportunities, through strategic selling, influencing and skilful negotiation.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that lead to high consumer satisfaction, building awareness and credibility with the key clients.
- Your customer base is situated in Europe, with an initial focus on Belgium and Luxemburg
- Play an integral role in the effective acquisition and retention of new customers.
- Develop new customer relationships through pre-project discussions, site visits, technical support and throughout the project and sales negotiation process.
- Support and work closely with our experts and our offering team in terms of offering and selling products and services.
- Attend organised events such as conferences, trade fairs and industry shows, where attendance will be both beneficial and enable increased visibility of the market.
- Follow up as necessary in the CRM systems.
- convey ENGIE’s image and values (ethics, safety) in all your contacts both within and outside the Group.
You have:
- A bachelor or master degree in a technical subject.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales with a focus on technical products and services.
- A good understanding of the energy landscape and preferably an established network with the grid operators in the Belux Region.
- A natural talent for developing and maintaining a network and long-term cooperation with customers, and internal and external partners.
- A strive for customer satisfaction.
- Capable of detecting unmet customer needs and drive the necessary actions to develop the required services / products.
- Driven by achieving results.
- Determined in reaching objectives.
- Motivated to develop new activities.
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English
- Flexible and willing to travel extensively in Belgium and Luxemburg.
