Beiersdorf Belgium is looking for a Key Account Manager – Pharmacy Channel
Main responsibilities:
As a Key Account Manager for our Pharmacy Channel, your main purpose will be developing & maintaining long term relationship with several customers in the pharmacy channel (parapharmacies, cooperative & private groups, wholesalers, homes) while maximizing sales opportunities.
You will also be beveloping, implementing and executing customer sales strategy in line with Beiersdorf sales strategy which meets both short- and long-term brand market share, sales and GM targets.
Your scope will also contain:
Customer strategy – Business planning – budget & reporting:
- Gain a clear understanding of all customers’ needs and requirements and expand the relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet customers’ objectives in line with sales strategy;
- Develop & execute an annual, medium- and long-term sales plan that ensures the delivery of brand, category and customer objectives (Net Sales, Market Share, Gross Margin, etc.);
- Develop a customer marketing plan ensuring efficient and excellent POS & execution at the retailer;
- Monitor and evaluate variances to plan and propose counter measures ensuring their effective implementation;
- Seeks for growth opportunities in a market with fast-paced changing retailer/shopper dynamics.
Pricing & promotions:
- Implement the agreed list price to ensure delivery of profit targets in consultation with Finance and in line with agreed mandates;
- Prepare and implement - in agreement with the Shopper & Customer Manager - the customer promotion plan ensuring alignment with the objectives of the sales plan.
Point of sale – Performance based TTC system:
- Deliver the agreed objectives within the annual customer plans for product distribution and display at the POS, maximizing the accessibility of Beiersdorf products to the consumer.
- Implement and control the customer TTC system in line with the Regional strategies.
Customer Relationships:
- Develop broad based strategic business relationship across the customers to ensure an integrated business to business relationship.
- Develop and execute action plans to meet our targets.
Your Profile
Our ideal new colleague:
- Holds a degree (Bachelor or Master) in a relevant field (Sales, Business, Administration, Marketing,…);
- Has minimum 2-3 years of Sales experience, preferably in FMCG or Pharma;
- Is Fluent in Dutch, French & English;
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills with the aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Demonstrates a “Winner & Can-do” mentality;
- Has strong analytical & problem-solving abilities, is passionate with a commercial & result-driven approach;
- Is accurate, well organized and shows attention to details;
- Possesses strong communication skills, both in written and verbal;
- Is a team player, takes initiatives and is also capable of working autonomously;
- Has a flexible & agile mindset towards change and always eager to find new opportunities.
