About Our Client

Our client is an international company based in Zaventem and is looking for a Freelance Management Controller who can start in mid-August or early September.

The Controlling department is responsible for monitoring short and long-term financial data in close collaboration with the management controllers for the various departments.

Description

As a Management Controller you will report to the Senior Controller and assist in performing the following tasks:
  • analyzing performance to optimize its management.
  • maintain close contact with the various stakeholders.
  • managing the budgeting and forecasting process: preparing schedules, coordinating stakeholders, centralizing, processing and supplementing budget data
  • follow-up of plans and periodic financial reports
  • participate in the cost allocation process
  • drawing up annual reporting
  • performing analyses
  • improving reporting, control and planning processes.


Profile
  • You have a Master in a financial-economic direction or similar through experience;
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • You have a thorough knowledge of financial reporting methods and of accounting and analytical concepts.
  • You already have experience with SAP (FI/CO);
  • You are also an advanced user of Excel and you master the financial planning tools (SAP BPC) for which you can (in time) act as a central point of contact for other users;
  • You have experience with the manipulation of large amounts of data that you systematically verify for consistency and accuracy; You also have experience in dealing with complex systems;
  • Your strong sense of organization allows you to follow up on multiple files and tasks at the same time;
  • You act as a convincing and trusting discussion partner;
  • You master Dutch, have a very good knowledge of French and a good knowledge of English.
