Business Consulting Finance works with clients to address critical issues of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), creating value and delivering world-class future finance capabilities.

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams for some of the biggest and most recognized corporate companies in the world, applying the latest technologies, to help drive their business performance and digital finance transformation agendas that make a real difference to our working world.

A focus area for us is Finance and business controlling – providing companies with greater insights on their performance and improving their financial planning and analysis (FP&A) capabilities to always stay ahead of new market trends.

To support the growth of our team, we are looking for a highly motivated Manager.

You will build strong relationships within client organizations, working with them to understand their most critical business problems and priorities, consulting with your EY peers to evaluate, design, and deliver solutions that leverage cutting edge technologies.

Skills And Attributes For Success

We are looking for professionals who are great communicators, team players, relationship builders with a real desire to learn. You are passionate about Finance, business controlling, Financial planning and analysis and/or activity based costing. You also have interest in new Finance technologies (ERP developments, BI and analytics tools, CPM software). Professional in your approach, you will have a natural ability to establish personal credibility with clients. You will also be highly organized, capable of coordinating your own workload, meeting deadlines, proactively managing risks and delivering quality outcomes.

You will add measurable value to your clients by addressing their biggest problems and priorities, including the need to:

• 
  Design or improve financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes
• Assess the maturity level of managing and understanding costs
• Design or improve cost allocation schemes based on leading practices
• Review of costing models against leading practices and regulatory requirements
• Act as a functional Finance expert on the implementation of new technologies within Finance departments
• Conduct accelerated finance diagnostic, maturity assessment and benchmarking
• Design and implement new Finance Operating Models (covering the 7 dimensions)
• Develop Financial and non-Financial business case
• Build roadmap for future Finance vision

Profile

• 
  Master degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent 5 to 7 years of experience in Finance consulting or in projects related to the design or improvement of FP&A and/or costing processes and methodologies.
• Prior experience with technologies such as CPM platforms or BI tools is a plus
• Fluent written and spoken English and Dutch and/or French
• Proven ability to engage, manage and build relationships
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to storyboard and create high quality outputs
• Excellent problem solving, facilitation, and presentation skills
• A proven ability to team effectively with diverse groups
• Willingness to travel (subject to COVID-19 governmental regulations)
