We will provide a dynamic work environment, the chance to grow within the company and to further develop your competences in advanced suspension technologies.Essential Responsibilities

• Support with development and introduction of new advanced suspensions systems or support on improving existing technologies
• Support on sample builds, prototype builds for testing
• Support on product improvement activities
• Coordination of test efforts in a Design and Validation Plan for new developments
• Participate in development projects for our new key technology
• Be an internal consultant within your specific technical domain knowledge

Main dutiesYou will have a supportive role in the development of our state of the art semi active damping systems and its subcomponents. The development and support efforts of the Engineering Technician are focused within New Technology Introduction (NTI) related projects, core engineering and related TenPlus projects. You will also deliver support on continuous development of a product/technology, or you can be involved in a knowledge transfer of products that have passed the NTI development stage to aid and deliver continuous development on those products. You will be involved in several projects, and therefore you are able to adapt quickly to changing priorities due to changing circumstances in the projects, set by engineering or by the Project Lead. You are expected to estimate priorities mostly at your own discretion, and are able to react proactively to the changing priorities on your own responsibilities within the development projects.You have a solid knowledge in the technical field, e.g. prototype development and builds, test development, test execution and test equipment. Your specific knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and/or materials adds to the success of the projects wherein you participate . You report the status of your tests to the broader engineering team and project team.You can count on motivated colleagues, professional space for creativity and initiative and short communication lines. You will come up with ideas, new and different solutions to problems, but also critically review proposed solutions and designs. We are perseverant and excellent team players.Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a technical specialization ( Automotive, Electro-Mechanics, Mechanics, Hydraulics, Electronics,..) or equal through experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience, preferable in automotive
• Experience with product design and development
• Strong reporting & communication skills: able to critically review input, results and reports and give feedback in a clear and firm way using founded and solid arguments
• Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
• Flexible attitude and willingness to travel up to 10%
