Of course. That’s in the best interest of our employees, our business and our clients. As a Company Risk Manager, you contribute to achieving our goals by setting the risk appetite, investigating risk signals and helping our business in gaining effectiveness in the operational risk domain.

Together with your colleagues in the Company Risk team, you’ll be on a mission to:

• be a front runner in operational (non-financial) risk, impactfully contributing to KBC Asset Management and KBC Group projects;
• design the internal control environment in a way to decrease operational risk exposure (and operational risk incidents hereafter) and watch over it;
• enhance and contribute to the risk culture in KBC Asset Management and KBC Group by strengthening the risk skills and knowledge of your colleagues. Always in close co-operation with all our stakeholders.

Who we are?

• Together with business stakeholders and your colleagues at Group Risk you detect, assess and evaluate the key risk and controls of our core processes.
• When an incident occurs you advise on what to do. You investigate the root cause and challenge the action plans.
• You represent Company Risk within and outside of KBC.
• You’re involved in major KBC Asset Management and group risk projects. E.g. concerning outsourcing or the follow-up of ECB recommendations. As well as in business continuity management and risk reporting.
• You set our risk appetite by co-creating the Global Risk Scan and Risk Appetite Statement.

• You have recurring tasks, but every day brings something new as well. You will be involved in different domains of company risk management: strategic, business, reputational and operational risk.
