Atlas Copco is on its way to a truly data driven organization and our team and platform are core components in this.The platform team takes care of Solution Architecture and Advisory, Platform DevOps, Support and provides Product DevOps capabilities to the organization.In the role as BW4HANA Platform DevOps engineer, you will be responsible for the full delivery of new or change requests for coding related to data products or generic platform developments. Coding might be in ABAP, UI5 or SQL. You work closely with the internal business to efficiently design, rollout and support coding linked to data products on our platform.As a Platform DevOps developer, you work in close collaboration with the Product DevOps team.What you can expect from us?What you can expect from us

What we can expect from youRoles & Responsibilities

• You are responsible to translate technical coding specifications into actual code in the 3 technical domains: ABAP, UI5 and SQL.
• Solutions may vary from BW cockpit UI5 applications, to complex ABAP or AMDP transformations in the BW data models.
• You will be responsible for clear documentation of your work within the application itself (inline code documentation) as on confluence.
• As a Platform DevOps developer, you will be reporting to the Polaris Platform DevOps Team lead.

Technology Experience

• 5+ Years of IS/IT, reporting and related processes background.
• Strong ABAP, UI5 and SQL developing skills are a must. Preferably all 3, but expertise in one of them and eagerness to learn the others is valid as well.
• Good knowledge of business intelligence, data warehouse concepts and data modeling are a must.
• General knowledge of (SAP) ERP Platforms and the integration capabilities towards BW4HANA.
• Knowledge in SAP B4HANA, mixed modeling and HANA is a plus.
• Experience with S4HANA Embedded Analytics (CDS Views) is a plus.

Educational requirements

• University degree in Economics, ICT or Business Administration, or similar academic background.
• Fluent in English. More languages are a plus
