Job description:

The Pricing Specialist BeLux will be part of the very dynamic Commercial Department team and will have a key role in our organization regarding price management.

Together with your peer colleagues you will be working in a fast-paced business environment, where we all strive together towards a high level of professionalism.

In very close collaboration with the Commercial Services Manager, you are responsible for the overall management of the local pricing policy.

Your key task is to ensure accurate and timely data & price entry by uploading and maintaining list prices and price discounts which are linked to contractual agreements or public tenders. You will support the implementation and maintenance of systems and continuously revaluate current tools and ways of working to standardize processes and drive efficiency. Therefore, you will be responsible to implement and perform SOX controls and to ensure all SOP’s (standard operating procedures) & WI’s (work instructions) are correctly executed and kept up to date.

Furthermore, you will be coordinating, preparing and implementing our recurrent strategic price changes across all divisional product portfolios and customer accounts.

Finally, the Pricing Specialist will also execute specific data analyses to provide the business with the necessary insights in terms of price dispute prevention and mitigation. You’ll build and provide accurate and insightful reports on a timely and ad hoc basis to drive pricing optimization, through productivity and efficiency.

Other tasks will include the pricing and product integration whenever Stryker acquires a new company/portfolio.

Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required

Key Responsibilities

• Price data entry for all divisional SKU’s actively sold in Belgium and Luxembourg
• Maintain accurate records and updates of price lists (Oracle system)
• Creation of customer-specific price lists related to new contracts and public tenders
• Prevent, investigate and resolve invoice disputes related to pricing/taxation issues
• Communicate with customers and provide customized pricing Master data
• Support the divisional Sales & Marketing teams with new item activations, price uploads or price modifications.
• Ensure proper execution of the local contracts, rebates & discount policies
• Coordinate, lead and implement the recurrent strategic price changes – export price lists, validate products in/ out of scope, calculate impact, develop and upload new general/ customized master data master data
• Support and enable the product pricing integration of newly acquired companies
• Develop close and strong collaboration with multiple cross functional stakeholders such as for example the
• Tenders & Contracts manager
• Customer Service team
• Sales & marketing teams
• Accounts Receivable & finance team

Competencies / Experience:

• 2-5 years of working experience in a corporate environment (preferably in a similar pricing role)
• Experience with standard business practices and pricing policies
• Understanding/ high interest of the Medical Technologies or Pharmaceutical industry
• Process and detail oriented
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience handling large datasets
• Strong communicator feeling comfortable presenting and providing insights to senior leadership
• Well-organized & strong administrative skills
• Ability to work independently, within guidelines and procedures, to achieve global organizational goals
• Problem solving mindset
• Able to simplify complex processes through planning and organization
• Capable of working in a fast-paced business environment
• Highly driven to work in the healthcare Industry
• Ability to coordinate different projects simultaneously

Qualifications / Education required:

• Bachelor’s degree (commercial sciences, business administration, finance, accounting, IT…)
• Native Dutch speaker
