FINEO™ is the newest type of insulated glass. With its unique vacuum technology, FINEO™ is one of the lightest insulated glass panels in the world while providing the performance of standard triple-glazed insulated glass.

It is light-weight, allows better light transmission and better acoustic performance than most traditional insulated glass systems. Fineo™ only consists of glass so there is no need for spacers and can be incorporated into any glazing application.

FINEO™ gives architects and designers the versatility to create even more stunning interiors and exteriors whilst at the same time comply with local and national energy-efficiency requirements and standards. FINEO™ offers a new dimension in both new-build and refurbishment construction projects.

AGC is looking for a Process & Quality Manager for its FINEO activity.

Based on the production site, the role includes the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the process and product as well as the quality control & assurance. This implies : :

• Process Improvement– You will define, design, improve and monitor both existing and new flows of production to support our operations activities, using lean manufacturing methods. You will focus on the processes improvement and standardization of our operating procedures but also on problem solving and guidance. You will contribute to the sharing of best practice to ensure sustainable processes and products’ reliability.
• Quality System control – You will manage and implement the quality control system (non-conformities, specifications, audits,…). You will review and establish in-process inspection standards by studying manufacturing methods and customer requirements.
• Quality key account - Act as single point of contact regarding technical requirements during product lifetime.
• Specification and validation - Review product specifications in agreement with business requirement and, if needed, propose an appropriate standard or testing method.
• Collaborations- Work collaboratively with other plant departments (maintenance, …) but also R&D and Engineering to establish methodologies to solve quality and process issue. Support the supply chain team by reviewing quality standard.

Qualifications

• You have an engineering degree in material sciences/chemistry/mechanical/electro-mechanical
• You have a first experience (3 years minimum) in the industry, ideally in a process improvement role
• You are passionate by technical processes and new products
• You are team oriented with an agile mindset and hands on attitude
• You have strong communication skills (persuasive) with ability to adapt your language to operators as well as top management.
• You are analytical, rigorous and attentive to details
• Excellent command of Excel (Pivot table, VBA, ..)
• Fluent in French with a good level of English
