Join our dynamic Procurement team and help large national and multinational companies, and non-profit and public sector organisations bring their operational & financial risks under control by identifying root causes and helping the management remediate these risks. We are specifically looking for Procurement Consultants. You will mainly be working on business processes related to purchases within different categories

The commercial world is constantly changing. Our clients face new regulations, shifting legislation and fluctuating economic and financial risk. By identifying risks, we help our clients spot pitfalls before they become problems, weigh the pros and cons and connect the dots so they can make informed, intelligent and insightful decisions that help them to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities.

What is procurement

Procurement covers all the purchases that an organisation makes to be operational, such as the purchase of raw materials, consulting services, machinery, IT software, vehicle fleet, etc. Procurement contributes to overall business strategy by streamlining procurement processes, enhancing product quality, promoting sustainability initiatives and achieving savings.

What work you’ll be doing

  • Conduct procurement maturity assessment within three different domains regarding Process, Technology & People in order to improve the overall performance of the procurement organisation
  • Develop a business case for setting up solid procurement processes through enabling technology (AI, RPA, …) and identifying the appropriate capabilitiesz
  • Be part of the clients procurement team and enclose contracts with key suppliers and build long-term relationships
  • Conduct assessments of procurement or operational risks in various types of industries
  • Identify, develop and test internal control measures to ensure that our clients’ business processes are efficient, effective and compliant
  • Improve or develop management and operational reporting to monitor processes and risks
  • Developing operational models and simulations to analyse the impact of risks on an organisation
  • Facilitate change for organisations and advise our clients on ways of improving their decision making, organisational structure, operational processes, related risk management and internal control environment (e.g. procurement)

Your office is at Zaventem airport however most of the time you will be working at the clients’ offices.

  • While becoming proficient in the tools and systems, you’ll acquire deeper knowledge of business processes, risk management and methodologies, and soft skills like negotiation techniques, project management and presenting.
  • Increasingly, you’ll increase your responsibilities and coach junior team members
  • As you grow in your job, you will take on a more senior role and be responsible for the quality of end-deliverables and deal with clients
  • As you become proficient in combining these various skillsets, you’ll continue to develop your management competencies

What is your educational background

You have a Master or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Logistic, Purchasing and Operations Management, ...
