MED-EL, an industry leader in hearing implants passionate about enabling people with hearing loss to hear the sounds of life, laughter, loved ones and music is looking for a Product Specialist in bone conduction hearing aids and passive middle ear implants. Who are we?

You will join a medical company specialized in hearing solutions, focused on quality, positive communication and service. You will be part of the Belgian department where there is an open and flexible communication culture mixed with the necessary team spirit. We work closely with hospitals and hearing centers in Belgium and Luxembourg.

The company is in a Business Center in Vilvoorde with parking, within walking distance of the train station.

What does the position include?

As a Product Specialist in bone conduction hearing aids and passive middle ear implants, you will be responsible for supporting physicians and audiologists. This includes the entire process from proposing the products to supporting the healthcare professional for implant placement or device adjustment. In this process you will also interact withsurgeons, hospital pharmacists, rehabilitation centers, audiologists in implant and hearing aid fitting and all those involved in the entire care process.

You are the first point of contact for physicians, audiologists and all healthcare professionals involved in the implantation of passive middle ear implants or bone conduction hearing aids.

Herewith some of your duties:

- Visiting physicians and audiologists for product presentation

- Establishing and maintaining relationships with ENT Healthcare Professionals

- Training and supporting physicians and audiologists

- Support in the operating room

- Supervising audiologists in the fitting procedure of the bone conduction device

- Writing travel reports and maintaining them in a registration patient system

- Develop and maintain your knowledge regarding your range

- Develop insight into the market and pass on relevant information to the Area Manager

- Participation in national and international conferences in relation to the products

- Support clinical studies

- Diving into reimbursement modalities and purchasing processes within the setting

- Participating and thinking along in marketing-related tasks such as translation of leaflets, searching for images, layout and content for newsletters, ...
