工作内容

Within a NovAliX insourcing team (UCB Pharma Belgium - Braine l’Alleud), under the supervision of the team leader, your mission will mainly consist of:

  • Conducting Mass Spectrometry projects to address specific Target Protein (TPD) challenges following the requirements of our client
  • Designing and executing studies using native and ion mobility MS, such as binding studies of protein-protein and protein-ligand complexes (non-covalent interactions, protein conformation, multiple stoichiometries, association/dissociation constant…), protein-ligand screening for hit identification
  • Performing experiments and developing methods using a brand new state-of-the-art Cyclic IMMS technology enabling high resolution ion mobility separations
  • Documenting experimental protocols according to the required standards
  • Written/oral reporting of data and discussing results with the clien

Profile

  • PhD degree in Analytical Science, Chemistry or Biology with experience in mass spectrometry
  • Experience in protein manipulation, sample preparation including protein purification
  • Knowledge of small molecules is a plus
  • Post-doctoral and industrial experience is a plus
  • Self-organization, problem-solving capabilities, teamwork skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English, French is a plus
