OverviewThe RPC Manager will take responsibility for the overall Remarketing and Fleet Pool processes and follow up. She or he will be a key person at Kia Belux to support the Used Car business. RPC Manager will challenge adapt, and follow up the Remarketing processes and coordinate the different pools (Company Cars, Fleet, Press and AfterSales).
Responsibilities
As Remarketing & Pool Car Manager, your role will be to accomplish the Core Missions and increase the maturity & output of the organization:
Remarketing Management
- Optimize existing processes and set-up new processes
- Set-up the remarketing operations with external providers
- Further roll-out of the automated auction system towards the network
- Develop and execute commercial aligned and efficient automated remarketing platform
- Ensure the performance of wholesale to the Kia dealers through maximizing the volume/profit with optimal time to sell/stock
- Extend commercial long-term relationships with Kia network
- First point of contact/support for distributors regarding the purchased OUV’s (status repair, delivery, pricing, issues, etc..)
- Direct remarketing of Kia ex-service cars, ex rentals and remarketing processes (internal and external parties)
- Update of Remarketing platform (data & pricing) and invoicing to dealer and third parties
- Manage budgets (cost control) and operational volume of vehicles and forecast
- Determine and regularly evaluate price level
- UC Stock management & inventory
- Follow up of incoming vehicles and optimization of remarketing cascade
- Manage efficient distribution
- Manage the hand in of damaged fleet and (future) rentals
- Coordinate remarketing activities (acquisition of (future) buy back, billing, technical management, refurbishment and reconditioning and inventory)
- OUV Invoicing (wholesale) and Car Doc / 2nd key administration
- Optimize existing processes and set-up new processes
- Determine, in consultation with stakeholders, the mix and selection of vehicles and guarantee approval process
- Provide and monitor all processes with regard to issuing (infleet) and intake (defleet) and follow up on timings / planning (current planned delivery dates and duration of in service)
- Provide and manage insurance and registration of vehicles and own fleet
- Provide transport assignments and handling of possible transport damage claims
- Provide extra workplace activities on request when there is a need during the lifecycle (winter tires, repairs, software updates, service actions, damage repairs,…)
- Process decisions and reminders
- Improve bottlenecks in policies, processes and cooperation
- Provide complete administration
- Forecast and report wholesales OUV’s
- Registration of documents flow between Service Providers and Fleet Mgt/Remarketing and Finance department
- Approval and administration of all invoices related to Car Pools
- UC Stock: Approval and administration of all invoices related to registration and repairs
- First point of contact for network regarding the use of systems and tools specific to second hand
- Direct remarketing for Kia NSC cars and remarketing processes
- Develop, communicate/send out different central management reports for monitoring UC activities and second-hand car business
- Cost Recharge to retailer network
- Coaching/ support remarketing platform
- First point of contact for dealers in relation to the use of different systems and tools for UC activities. Close cooperation with marketing for solving technical problems
- Follow up of incoming vehicles and optimization of remarketing cascade
- A comprehensive and demonstrable Sales Management background of minimum 5 years gained preferably within either the Used Car, Fleet Rental or Buy Back automotive sectors.
- Must be able to demonstrate a solid sales track record of achieving personal and team targets as well as working to Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Demonstrate in-depth understanding of selling to a dealer or franchised reseller network.
- Proven track record of success initiating, designing and developing sales strategies to deliver profitable growth.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; expresses opinions and innovative ideas.
- Ability to motivate, inspire and get buy-in from others.
- A desire to further your career within a global company and an appetite for sales success.
- Advanced Excel & Powerpoint skills (experience in SAP &Tableau/PowerBI/Qlik is a plus).
- You will be fluent in Dutch and French and English.
- You will have a good level of Education ideally to Degree level.
- Extensive problem-solving and analysis skills.
- High level of organization and detail-orientation.
- Solid work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
- Strong commercial acumen and market awareness.
- Enthusiastic, positive, ’can do’ attitude.
