PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Business Analyst will be a key player within Sales & Commercials departments. H/S(he) will be the link between Sales Teams and Management, providing support to the Head of Sales, ensuring performance monitoring and reporting requirements. The BA shall essentially work with Power BI and MS Excel/Power Query & Sage X3 and will produce analytical and synthetical reports. These reports will help internal dept to monitor performance, to provide information about trend and Outlook and to support the wholesalers in their activity. The BA maintains good contacts with all sales managers, with middle management and with marketing. He/she will report to the International Sales Manager.
H/S(he) will actively support a range of key strategic commercial projects and measure their success – all designed to add substantial value to the commercial decision-making of the company.
RESPONSABILITIES
/ Leads support to Sales/Commercials teams:
- Manage all the Power BI information and Reports. Make sure the existing are properly working and create new reports in line with the market needs.
- Customer’s performance analysis (drivers of over or under performance vs. objectives, scorecards with key metrics).
- Ad hoc support Sales Manager in preparation of meetings
- Provide analysis for key negotiation and simulation
- Drives financial acumen and expertise across the sales & finance functions in the evolution of sales strategies.
- Provides insightful reporting and analysis to support the sales team.
/ Owns Sales planning (strategic plan and outlooks) and monthly reporting (by customer and by categories) – following mounted CFO Governance to gain synergies.
/ Ensure that all the process and sales conditions are follow up and monitor:
- EYB, Prebook, Extra discount, all process in the sales conditions, KPI
/ Ensures data integrity and consistency (stewardship): Secure adherence to policies and spend control.
/ Develops external score carding and competitive knowledge.
/ Create better understanding of Wholesaler margin.
/ Informs middle and top management about the sales process through clear and to-the-point reporting and dashboards.
/ Pro-actively addresses all items that impact the achievement of the budget.
/ Prepare analysis for:
- Sales conditions (sales conditions simulation)
- Budget
- Outlook
- Monthly Estimation
/ Monitor ROI on commercial decisions as
- Actions
- COOP investment
- Price change
- Sales conditions adaptation
COMPETENCIES SPECIFIC TO THE POSITION
- Excellent analytical skills with synthesis with sense of figures.
- Ability to program in Power BI (report creation, maintenance)
- Demonstrated ability tocommunicate effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
- Sales/Customer-oriented and relevant experience in a Sales Role
- Provenability to manage multiple projects at a time while respecting different deadlines.
- Ability toprovide strategic solutions to solve business challenges and create opportunities.
- Takes responsibility and works autonomously.
- High willingness forteamwork in an international environment (meeting deadlines & influencing external sources to get required info).
- Self-driven with provenentrepreneurial mindset.
YOU QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven professional experience of minimum 5 years in similar positions (Business Analyst, Financial Controller or Project Manager) and at least 3 years in a Sales Positions
- Ability to program in Power BI (creation of reporting, maintenance)
- Extensive knowledge in financial reporting, controlling and analysis of financial/sales data
- Proven to be able to work in small/medium organization, taking leadership of the project and result oriented.
- You have a degree in Finance, Economics, IT / Engineering, Statistics (Bachelor / Master or equivalent by experience).
- Computer literate (Excel, Access, Power BI, MS Excel/Power Query & Sage X3, ERP, CRM).
- Sound understanding of implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent level in English (both verbal & written). French and another Main European language is a + (German, Italian, Spanish).
