To help us achieve this mission we are looking for an enthusiastic commercial person that wants to kick-start their sales career by joining one of the fastest growing listed tech companies as a Sales Development Representative in our Mechelen office. In this role you will be focusing on the Belgium market.

Location: Mechelen (Belgium). We work hybrid.

What you’ll do

In this role you will be part of an experienced team with Field Account Executives, Account Managers and Customer Success Managers, following the SaaS sales methodology. You will make sure that there is a continuous stream of qualified leads. The great part about this role is that you really are ‘the heart’ of the team; the other team members depending on your efforts.

You will be able to learn and grow as a Sales Professional in a team with a lot of potential. You will sell Messaging solutions like WhatsApp, AppleBusiness Chat, Google RCS and also be responsible for Ticketing for events. Next to this we sell AI Chatbot technology on Enterprise level which is a game changer in customer service. The team focuses on Mid-Markets and Enterprise customers, in among others the Retail & E-commerce and Leisure & Travel industry.

You are mainly responsible for:

· Taking ownership over the incoming leads and create new ones (outbound) through a variety of tools like phone, email and social channels like LinkedIn; the focus in your role will be outbound lead generation;

· Supporting the Account Executives and Account Managers in your team by arranging sales appointments / meetings;

· Online consultancy calls with multiple decision makers of prospects and partners;

· Identifying key decision makers and find out the budget when you are talking to potential customers;

· Prepare pipeline and forecasts reports;

· Organize demo appointments with prospects;

· Become a trusted resource and develop productive relationships with prospects;

· Ensure that our CRM (Salesforce) is always up to date.

The success in your role is reflected in the number of sales ready leads and opportunities you are able to create and the conversion of prospects. You have the freedom to show your entrepreneurship and create sales ready leads and gain the confidence to work independently.

We are looking for

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a commercial direction;

· 0-2 years of experience in an inside sales role is preferable, but not necessary;

· Commercial drive;

· Experience in prospecting, including cold calling is preferred;

· Ambitious to grow in the sales profession;

· Excellent communication skills; fluent in English and Dutch. French is preferable (but not necessary);

· Good analytical skills; you’re able to value leads and identify opportunities;

· Willingness to visit relevant sales events from time to time.
