Robert Half is looking for an experienced SAP WMS Specialist (M/F/X) with deep and proven experience in delivering successful End-to-End Customer Centric projects.

Our client, based in Walloon Brabant, is active in research and development.

Responsibilities
  • Be the counterpart of the Business Process Owner/Expert (BPO/BPE)
  • Be the reference for the processes and be in charge in the area of planning
  • Be in charge to keep and enhance the WMS process template while striving to improve business processes and staying in standard SAP
  • Provide expertise by participating in integration workshops during Business Blue Print (BBP) phase, challenging the business, following-up closely the realization, assimilation and go-live phases of the project while being careful to stay as much as possible in the template and capitalizing on IT solutions (SAP ECC)
  • Customize our SAP ECC according to the designed planning process in the BBP and perform functional and technical analyses; validate the developments provided by the development team
  • Provide thought leadership and resolve complex issues by reviewing and validating the quality of the WMS planning deliverables (BBP, customizing, training …) provided by the consultants of the domain
  • Take the lead on the most complex deliverables (during BBP, realization, …)
  • Alert the DC Manager / IT Project Lead and the BPO when deviation from scope and template are likely to occur
  • Participate in the definition and execution of the integration tests
  • Participate in different committees as defined in the governance model
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Engineering, Computer Sciences, Economics or equivalent experience is required
  • Excellent communication skills; fluency in English as a prerequisite, French recommended, Dutch is an asset
  • In-depth knowledge (from a business and SAP perspective) of the WMS processes
  • Strong SAP experience in WMS (at least 3 years of experience / 2 or 3 complete projects) Exposure to ABAP (ABAP debugging is an asset)
  • Knowledge of Fiori and RF (for WMS)
  • Knowledge about the integration aspects
