Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Manager, you are responsible for further expanding our international market position. You manage existing accounts and actively develop new markets and customer relationships.

What will you do?

  • Expand international customer relationships and market share, with a focus on Central Eastern Europe.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and account plans.
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms.
  • Identify market developments and opportunities.
  • Collaborate intensively with Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations.
  • Implement promotional strategies in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Represent Den Berk Délice at (international) trade fairs and events.

Profile

  • At least 5 years of sales experience in Retail (Food).
  • Proven international work experience.
  • A relevant network within the sector is a strong asset.
  • Affinity with food, vegetables, and greenhouse horticulture.
  • Commercial, results-oriented, and proactive.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30–40%).
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English; other languages (e.g., German, French, or Spanish) are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s level thinking.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Team player with people management qualities.
