As a Shift Supervisor(m/f/*) Production for the Zwijndrecht siteyou will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

  • Lead a team of production operators (m/f/*) in accordance with the 3M safety, health, environmental and quality regulations in order to complete the production planning in an economical productive way.
  • You focus also on the follow-up of the functioning of your employees with regard to all aspects of the code of conduct (safety, quality and productivity) and of the production process.
  • Follow-up of the training of (new) operators in case new processes/installations are implemented is also part of your main responsibilities.
  • You provide the necessary communication to your crew and peers, this by organizing safety and quality crew meetings, as well as doing a proactive communication to all parties involved in the manufacturing organization.

Your Skills And Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Master/Bachelor of Industrial Sciences or equivalent by experience
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment is a plus
  • In-depth practical knowledge of chemical production
  • Languages: Dutch & English
  • Good PC knowledge (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Good leadership, coaching and motivational abilities
  • Strong personality & sense of responsibility
  • Good communication qualities
  • Flexible and solution-oriented attitude
  • Being able to work independently and set priorities

You work in a fully continuous system (2-2-2), if required you also have to be present outside this work schedule for meetings, training, project work.
