We are looking for an intern to join the EMEA Site Inhouse CRA team - 6 months internship as soon as possible.

Internship Summary

We are looking for an intern for our Site Inhouse CRA team for 6 months. This internship will provide an opportunity to take your first steps into the world of clinical research in Medical Devices.

Our team is involved in the execution of Abbott clinical studies at the assigned study sites in EMEA throughout the different Study phases.

You will gain experience in the study site start-up phase, clinical document management and other study site related activities.

As an intern will receive valuable learning from working in an international, multi-disciplinary environment, with challenges arising from different professional; cultural and personal backgrounds.

This position will start as a home based function, but will require daily presence at our Brussels office after Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted.

Education / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably with an academic focus in natural science, pre-medicine, nursing, bioengineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • English speaker
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, organizational skills, and the ability to interpret basic clinical data, to meet deadlines as well as the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capable of exchanging information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
