Schneider Electric operates in 134 countries, has 128 000 colleagues and in 100 locations worldwide there is there is a classy showroom, which we call Innovation Hubs. In that showroom, we welcome visitors daily and show the real-world application of our solutions in automation and energy monitoring. The showroom was inaugurated brand new on March 23rd.
What will be your responsabilities ?What Belgium’s Innovation Hub still lacks is visitor registration (preferably Planon), comfort sensors (CO2, VOC, temperature, humidity, etc.) and ’people count’ sensors that give us a real-time insight into how the Innovation Hub is visited and what the impact is on available space, air quality and facilities. This insight is preferably presented on a large (touch) screen and an app. In this way, we show how an integrated workplace management system (IWMS, such as Planon) is used to support facilities management.The student can work out the process in depth from A to Z according to his/her interests. An example of a trajectory is: research smart workplace experience, feasibility study of sensors and software, working out a plan of action and implementing it. It goes without saying that the student will receive guidance depending on the phase in the track and the area of interest.This will be discussed with the student in advance and a schedule will be drawn up.
Who You Are- You are a Bachelor or Master student
- You are methodical, rigorous and detail-oriented
- You speak either French, Dutch or English
- Good knowledge of MS Office and computer tools
- You are a team player and able to work independently
- You have a proactive and open-minded personality with a passion for international teamwork.
LocationThe work location is located in Uccle. The building is easily accessible by public transport(for the location plan - click here). It is also negotiable to work in coworking spaces such as in Ghent, Sint-Niklaas, Bruges, Aalst or Aartselaar. Sporadic home or ’dormitory’ work is also possible
