We are seeking a full-time Software Engineer to develop and maintain C++ embedded software for our eye-tracking device, contributing to the creation of algorithms that aid in the diagnosis of neurological diseases.

Main responsibilities :

  • Design, Develop, and Maintain Software: Ensure code meets high-quality standards and is well-maintained. Participate in resolving software bugs.
  • Testing: Write, execute, and maintain unit test cases; define and perform integration tests.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of software implementations, including flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear code.
  • Support: Provide active support to internal and external customers as needed.
  • Methodologies and Standards: Apply and adhere to software development methodologies, frameworks, processes, and standards in a highly regulated environment; propose and implement improvements.
  • Understanding Business Needs: Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand and challenge business needs, developing software solutions to meet these requirements.
  • Peer Review: Conduct reviews of team members’ work, suggest improvements, and offer expertise to effectively support the team.
  • Work Estimation: Accurately estimate workloads and meet deadlines.

Required competencies :

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of modern C++ (20/23) and inter-process development.
  • Experience with embedded software and Linux OS.
  • Familiarity with machine learning.
  • Experience with GIT, OOP, and Python.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based software development.
  • Familiarity with the ISO 62304 standard for medical device software life cycle processes.
  • Understanding of FPGA architecture.
