Software Project Manager

TenForce is an international software product company based in Leuven, Belgium with all around the world customers (INEOS, Total, Chevron Philips, ABInBev, Flemish Government, Proximus, Fonterra ….). Our web-based, highly configurable product is a pragmatic answer to the ever-increasing demand for transparency, visibility and compliance.

We have been around for 20 years and experience constant growth. We are looking for a fellow Software Project Manager, who will be responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion. We like to delight our customers in these fast-paced times, so you will be working together with your TenForce colleagues, remaining a true sparring partner for your customers!

Your mission:

• Responsible for planning out the complete blueprint of your projects; managing the software project from A-Z
• From analysis to writing user stories, specifications & defining features of the customer requests, your hands-on approach is your biggest driver
• Untangle complex business processes and propose creative solutions in our flexible platform
• You manage 1 or more projects in parallel
• Ensuring projects are delivered within time/scope and budget according to our internal TenForce project planning & process
• Delivering completed software products to customers and checking regularly on the product’s performance
• Managing relationships with your customers and stakeholders

Who are we looking for:

• You’re interested in business processes and passionate about software products in order to create added value for the customers
• Short deadlines and multiple changes are within your comfort zone
• You know how to manage expectations of the customer to deliver your project in time and in budget by collaborating with your colleagues (analysts, other project managers, engineers …)
• Knowledge & hands-on experience with functional analysis
• Positive attitude blended with a solution focused mindset is your magical recipe for success – mild level of craziness is always a nice to have
• You have affinity with or a background in engineering
• 2-5 years’ experience in project management in a customer-oriented organization.
• Somebody living in Belgium, fluent in spoken and written English, Dutch and/or French is a strong plus.
