Talent Acquisition Trainee

POLITICO is looking for an enthusiastic student or graduate, who recently finished their studies, to join our HR team as a Talent Acquisition Trainee for 6 months beginning in March 2024.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse profile of soft HR tasks within a dynamic, international team.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain the applicant tracking system database by ensuring that all candidate information and activity is up to date
• Daily management of the mailbox
• Coordinate interview processes, including scheduling, follow-ups, and feedback.
• Engage with potential candidates through telephone and email to facilitate their participation in the POLITICO recruiting process.
• Assist with application screenings to streamline the selection process.
• Assist the HR team in general projects when needed

What You’ll Need

• Speak, read and write English at a professional level
• Currently studying, or recently completed, a bachelor or master in a relevant field (Human Resources, Communications, Business, etc.) with a strong motivation to work in recruitment
• A genuine interest in working in a multi-lingual international environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Comfort with technology and web-based tools
• Positive, can-do attitude
