At Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe (HCEE), we deal with the sales, marketing and service of Construction Equipment and Material Handling equipment in Europe. We have over 100 dealers in 30 countries in Europe, selling our world class equipment and parts to clients.

In our European headquarters we strive to offer an excellent service to all stakeholders and to do so, we are constantly looking for motivated new colleagues to join our team.

At this moment we are looking for a motivated Technical Procurement Specialistto join our Parts department in Tessenderlo.

Job description

  • You follow up existing suppliers and compare new suppliers to get the best offer on new products.
  • You follow up on all the open purchase orders and act in case of expired due date.
  • You follow up stock ruptures together with inventory planning and you define immediate actions to source new items.
  • You analyse parts manuals, parts bulletins, service bulletins and define required parts for inventory.
  • You are responsible for sourcing new suppliers on the market.
  • You manage emergency situations by contacting alternative supply sources.
  • You assist in procurement related administrative tasks.
  • You report discrepancies / damages to suppliers.

Profile

  • You have a few years of relevant experience in technical procurement, forecasting and/or planning.
  • You have a technical background or experience in a technical procurement environment (engines, electronics …).
  • You are an Excel expert (pivot tables, V-lookup …)
  • You are proactive, take ownership and like to see the big picture.
  • You like to take initiative, have good communication and reporting skills and can work independently.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
