UI Designer M/W/X

Founded in 2015 in Brussels by Sébastien Lebbe and Jonathan Alzetta, Wooclap is an EdTech startup which helps to engage students and learners as active participants in their learning.

Thanks to our web platform of interactive questions, which students answer in real time via their smartphone, more than 1,000,000 teachers around the world make their courses more active, more efficient and more adapted to their students’ expectations. Our user base includes higher education teachers as well as corporate trainers.

The success of our product is due to its ease of use and the partnerships we have forged with professors, researchers and cognitive science specialists that allow us to create features that are as close as possible to the needs of our users.

In 2020, Wooclap continued to innovate and launched Wooflash, a study platform for students based on spaced repetition and artificial intelligence.

As our next UI Designer, you will join our world-class tech team and will work closely with the Dev Team along with Gaëtan, our designer. You will work on projects such as UI research, UI design, etc. for our two platforms : Wooclap and Wooflash. Your designs will have a direct impact on our users.

Responsibilities

• You will generate clear ideas, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end based on design briefs.
• You will create and design unique and compelling user interfaces for our platforms.
• You will ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.

Overall, you will propose and shape designs that meet the marketing objectives while taking into account our product and brand visions. And you will keep it simple:)

• You have a first experience as UX/UI designer
• You are passionate about UI design and know about tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, etc.
• You want to be involved in user research and user tests to make sure your solutions answer users’ needs
• Keep it Simple is your motto! Like Antoine de St Exupery said a designer knows he has achieved perfection not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.
• You’re a team player and love working with different teams
• You’re always on the lookout for new trends in design and are eager to share it with your team
• You deliver high-quality designs and are known for your attention to details
• You speak French(mandatory) and have a fluent level of English
