Univercells technologies is developing a new generation of biotechnology equipment (Scale-X and NevoLine) and to move forward with the production of our innovative products, we are looking for an Assembly Leaderto support our manufacturing activities.

Based in Nivelles you will be responsible for the process of producing single use equipment destined for the bioprocessing activities of our clients. The assembly activities occur in an ISO-8 clean room complex.

YOUR MISSION

As the Assembly Leader you will be responsible of the following tasks:

• Leading the Assembly team as their line manager. This includes responsibility for team performance and the development of individual team members.
• Being the Assembly representative for all operational and cross-functional mechanisms.
• Organizing the clean room activities to align capacity with customer demands whilst meeting quality and safety standards. As part of this you must be able to correctly characterize clean room capacity for a dynamic product portfolio.
• Ensuring timely and complete review of batch records in conjunction with the Quality team.
• Ensuring writing, reviewing and updating of work instructions, standard operating procedures, batch records or other work related documents.
• Ensuring that all members of the Assembly team are correctly trained in terms of manufacturing processes, quality, and EHS.
• Performing root cause analysis and solve issues that could impact the delivery schedule.
• Tracking and communicating Key Performance Indicators in adequation with the company targets so that each team member is aware of expectations and deliverables.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or maintenance operations. Experience in a Pharma or Biotech environment experience is a plus. Previous experience in team leadership is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems (Open ERP/Odoo is a plus).
• Ability to organize change, build relationships, and make good use of available resources.
• Ability to problem solve and set priorities, generating new ideas and improved ways of working while maintaining effective control.
• Excellent quality and organization of work (autonomy, methodological approach, behavior under pressure, rigor).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document processes.
• Working knowledge of Lean Supply Chain (Continuous Improvement Methodology, Kaizen, 5S,…) is a plus.
• Fluent in French. Fluency in English is desired, but not essential if you are willing to improve.
• Enthusiastic and flexible enough to lead a multitasking role.
• Driven by curiosity and eager to learn more every day.
• Strong desire to be impactful.
• Hands-on approach.
