Within the Wholesale Banking division, which serves corporate clients in over 40 countries, the Working Capital Solutions / Receivables Finance business line originates, structures and manages complex and high value added working capital financing solutions based on trade receivables and securitisation techniques. The Brussels team is the global center of expertise for this product within ING Group and serves corporate clients around the world.
Your key responsibilities
As an Associate - Transaction Management, you will work within the Deal Teams on the credit risk management of a wide variety of complex receivables finance transactions:
- as a member of the deal team, you will contribute to the structuring of the transactions with a focus on credit risks;
- you will analyse and challenge complex transaction structures and you will assess the credit risks of the transactions and the creditworthiness of the clients;
- you will draft thorough financial analyses and credit application packages, and you will present your analyses to the credit committees;
- you will organise due diligences with external auditors and you will formulate recommendations;
- you will closely monitor and analyse the credit performance of the transactions and you will negotiate waiver requests with risk management;
- you will coach more junior team members;
- and you will contribute to special projects related to the development of the business.

As Associate - Transaction Management you will also need:
- an academic background in economics, management, law or equivalent;
- a relevant experience of min. 3 to 6 year specifically in corporate credit risk analysis, acquired either in a corporate credit risk department or in corporate lending. Or a relevant transaction management experience with a strong credit risk focus, acquired in another high value added wholesale banking product (e.g. securitisation, structured finance, acquisition finance, etc.);
- excellent written drafting skills, with an outstanding capability to articulate your arguments and to structure a critical and rigorous analysis in a comprehensive and synthetic manner;
- excellent English skills.
