Compliance & Ethics Specialist - Group CCO Office (Brussels/Paris) - (BRU205LS)

D- Role: Group CCO Office - Compliance & Ethics specialist

The Group CCO Office supports the Group Chief Compliance Officer (“Group CCO”) in ensuring proper oversight of compliance with laws and regulations on a consolidated basis by:
  • maintaining a consolidated view on the compliance risks existing at Entity level and on the implementation of actions to mitigate risks
  • assessing how C&E Group Policies and Minimum Requirements have been implemented by the Entities
  • contributing to the reporting of the Group CCO to the ESA Management Committee and Board

You will work in close collaboration with the Head of the Group CCO Office.

You will:
  • follow the evolution of material risks, control issues and compliance metrics in the Euroclear CSDs, and ensure that the Compliance Universe and Compliance Monitoring Dashboards (EB, ESA) are kept up-to-date by ESA C&E Advisory teams
  • monitor and maintain an overview of the evolution of the compliance framework across entities, and the transposition / implementation of C&E Group Policies / Minimum Requirements
  • verify that local C&E policies are aligned with Group Policies / Minimum requirements
  • collect from the CSDs’ Compliance teams information about the status of regulatory initiatives for the Regulatory Forum
  • assess periodically the compliance risks in the non-CSD entities owned by ESA
  • contribute to the preparation of the reporting of the Group CCO to the ESA governance

Qualifications

Technical skills:
  • Experience in a risk or control function and good understanding of the key concepts and tools of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (e.g. inherent vs. residual risk, risk mitigation, control activities, etc.)
  • Knowledge of regulations impacting Euroclear is a plus
  • Report writing & design skills (Powerpoint)
  • A professional certification in Compliance, Risk Management or Audit is a plus.
