Commercial Finance Director RR (m/v)

What?

• Strategic and Operational Sales planning and Forecasting
• Sales margin optimization
• Price management (strategic, operational, new products, solutions or services)
• Commercial and Innovation projects (ex.: product portfolio, product life cycle, service offering to the customer, new products development and introduction, business cases¿)
• Credit management

How?

• The person supports, challenges, co-drives with commercial and technology people, based on financial expertise and analysis, both in the preparation of decisions as well as in the follow-up of performance
• Both for recurring topics as well as for projects
• Pricing is a key area of focus in the different areas of involvement, including attention for proper use of tools and governance & processes, as well as reporting and analysis of performance
  • Tools: incl. a.o. Rolling Reference Price model (project to roll-out and subsequent follow-up), P-M model (incl. deepdive analysis and insights), pricing models as Value Pricing, TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), TSP (Target Selling Price)
  • Governance: assure adherence to agreed governance and processes (for preparation and taking of decisions); efi: LTSA negotiations
  • Close cooperation with the corporate pricing team (BCE) for co-development and roll-out of new tools and practices, as well as with the Advanced Reporting Center for data management and analysis
• Credit management: support to the commercial team and interface with corporate credit department
• Focus is on global RR topics, and works closely together with regional RR FBPs for regional commercial topics

Profil

• You hold a Master¿s degree in Business Administration, Economic Sciences, Sciences or comparable by experience.
• You have 5+ years of experience as business (P&L) controller in a relevant and international environment; have a delivery record of accomplishment in, and understanding of financial, market & trade and macro-economic trends that influence the business in relevant industry or industries.
• You are able to co-create, align and execute on the strategic vision and plan of your unit as part of the Bekaert strategy and are able to drive and engage a diverse community through influencing rather than hierarchy.
• You have effective communication skills and even better listening skills that allows you to get the voice of the stakeholders.
• You have experience with modern/digital systems to support a structured way of working.
• You have an analytical mindset & capabilities to deep-dive financial analysis.
• You can navigate your network to deliver and to cut through complexity, based on customer focus and an agile way of working.
• You demonstrate a ¿better together¿ spirit while you support, challenge, drive execution and deliver results.
• You challenge the status quo, stimulate innovation and continuous improvement.
• You can co-lead the transformation of our Finance function across our global footprint, and together with your team and other stakeholders in the external field (customers, suppliers, partners¿), the business and functions; you build the necessary capabilities for the future.
• You are fluent in English (oral and written).
• You are willing to travel to different locations across the globe.
