The Industrial Controller will oversee financial operations and reporting for the 2 manufacturing facilities of Buizingen and Dour. He/She will provide strategic financial guidance and support to plant managers and leadership teams.

Areas of responsibility

BU support and partner

  • Key role focused on optimizing plant processes and financial management
  • Close collaboration with the Financial functions and plant managers
  • Ensure that the plant’s financial performance is in line with the company’s goals and objectives
  • Manage the plant’s budget, analyze financial data, make recommendations to improve the plant’s financial performance
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that the plant is operating efficiently and effectively
  • Responsible for investment follow-up, tracking the progress of investments and ensuring that they are aligned with the company’s strategic goals
  • Manage Operational Working Capital, ensuring that the plant’s working capital is optimized and in line with the company’s financial goals
  • Act as an internal control guardian, ensuring that the plant’s internal controls are in place and effective, and that the plant is in compliance with company policies and regulations.
Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Education: BAC +5, Engineer or Business School, with a specialization in Finance
  • Has excellent numerical and analytical skills and ability to interact with operations
  • Is result oriented and hands on
  • Has extensive experience in controlling within a manufacturing setting
  • Strong SAP skills
  • Is able to be a change agent to promote common tools and approaches to project controlling/ performance measurement among the industrial controllers
  • Has good written and oral communication skills both in local language and English
