Function

As an IT Support Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for providing internal support to all employees. The role involves addressing a wide range of user queries and resolving IT issues through phone, remote assistance, and on-site visits to Belgian offices.

Responsibilities:

  • First-line support for internal users.
  • Immediate resolution of straightforward IT issues; forwarding more complex problems to colleagues.
  • Explanation of usage and answering user queries.
  • Identification of improvement initiatives.
  • Maintenance and implementation of hardware and software.
  • Keeping user and support documentation up-to-date and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in system administration.
  • Fluent communication in Dutch and English; a solid foundation in French.
  • Experience with Microsoft-oriented environments including Office 365, SCCM, Windows 11, Azure, and Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems, with experience in ServiceNow being a plus.
  • Customer and service-oriented mindset.

Additional Information:

  • Work location: Roeselare or Gent, with occasional travel to Belgian offices as part of the job.
