EverZinc is looking to reinforce the Pelt team with a Plant Buyer

Your Responsibilities

As Plant Buyer, your main task will be the purchase of goods and services and the operational & administrative management of the ’spare parts warehouse’:
  • Handling of purchasing files
  • Acquiring relevant market knowledge
  • Organising + performing operational tasks in the spare parts warehouse - in close cooperation with the Head of Technical Department
  • Management of the spare parts warehouse stock (-levels)
  • Request & comparison of quotations.
  • Contacting suppliers
  • Promoting safety & order with respect for the environment

YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor-level in a technical field of study or equal by experience, min 5 years, preferably in an industrial environment
  • Experienced purchaser
  • Experienced negotiator
  • Reporting skills.
  • Familiar with the Office-suite (Word, Excel, Outlook…)
  • Experience in SAP (MM-module / PM-module)
  • Fluent in Dutch and in English, basic knowledge of French / German
