To support its expanding activities DEME Concessions is looking to strengthen its team with an Electrical Expert Engineer. The Electrical Expert Engineer is responsible for providing electrical project support and services from his/her expertise throughout the different development phases of Green Hydrogen market and be directly involved with multidisciplinary project development teams for projects around the world.

Your responsibilities

• Provide electrical project support and services from his/her expertise throughout the different development phases of Green Hydrogen projects;
• With profound technical knowledge develop tender packages and liaise with suppliers;
• Review detailed engineering reports, procedures, manuals and method statements;
• Liaise with different stakeholders within the development team and external stakeholders (e.g. national grid operators) about the interfaces, requirements, simulations;
• Analyse data, optimize on jointly defined criteria, perform simplified modeling
• Work alongside the Technical and Project team;
• Develop, engineer with Owner’s Engineers, Workstream leaders’ technology packages
• Co-work with with partners in integrated teams;
• Writing documents such as: Requests for Quotations, specifications, site investigation requirements, functional requirements, tender documents for procurement and EPCI contracting in the field of renewable energy production (solar, wind), transmission lines, substations;
• Reviewing documents such as: Requests for Quotations, specifications, design drawings and documents;
• Interface identification and management;
• Develop (tender) processes, standards and planning;
• Identify risks and opportunities and management thereof.

Your profile

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant work experience;
• Profound technical knowledge about: high voltage electrical networks and related issues, grid simulations, transmission lines, grid connections, transformer stations, solar plants design, wind park design and energy yield calculations;
• Passionate about the renewable energy development;
• Team player with an eye for detail and able to work in a structured way;
• Good communicator, fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading);
• Able to adhere to planning and strict deadlines;
• Capable of switching quickly between high level concept comparison and deep-diving into calculations to substantiate the concept selection;
• Experience with grid simulation software;
• Willingness to work in an international environment;
• Contractual mindset and commercial skills, capable to evaluate detailed offers;
• Able to give lead to a team but also being able to work independent;
• Collaborating skills to reach a global optimum;
• Available for assignments abroad.
