For this international IT company, we are looking for an accountant to join their small finance department.

This job is based in Mechelen.

Accountant – The Role

The job includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

  • Accounts Payable: execute timely payment to various suppliers, approve expenses, enter invoice up in the system
  • Accounts Receivable: handle invoices, supervise the credit collection processes
  • Monthly VAT returns
  • Month-end closings
  • Analytical accounting & reporting: you provide the company’s management team with occasional, ad-hoc reports

Accountant – About You

  • You have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent
  • You have between 2 and 6 years of experience in a similar role, either in-house or in an accounting firm
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus

Accountant – The Offer

The company offers a competitive salary package:

  • 3500€ to 4500€ gross, based on your experience, 13th month

A hybrid model has been implemented. Presence at the office is required 3 days a week, with 2 of homeworking. 40 weekly hours are worked, with therefore 32 days annual leave.
