The Business UnitMarketing & Sales, located in Gosselies, is looking for a Product Owner


Who we are looking for :
An energetic leader who is truly customer-obsessed and loves working with teams to design and deliver exceptional products to customers. You will work directly with E2E Teams members to prioritize and manage what needs to be done and by when. Working with E2E Teams members without direct authority over them will be key—you are a servant leader and embody that in how you approach the work. You will coordinate closely with the Operations Lead to stay aligned on the mission and goals and make sure your E2E Teams is progressing and delivering against them. You will also represent the voice of the customer, whether internal or external, and make sure that E2E Teams members understand their needs and preferences. To get this work done, you will maintain and prioritize the backlog of user stories that your E2E Teams will use to execute/deliver their work.

YOUR CHALLENGE asProduct Owner:

  • Enabling the organization’s new way of working :
    • Modelling behaviours to support the organization’s transformation to a new way of working
    • Actively creating and maintaining a E2E Teams culture based on the Agile leadership behaviours
  • Delivering business results and customer value together with your E2E Teams :
    • Specific and measurable KPI’s to be defined for each E2E Teams in your scope
  • Setting an overall vision to direct and inform the E2E Teams’s work :
    • Working closely with the Operations Lead to understand and drive alignment on the business strategy, goals, and objectives
    • Together with your E2E Teams, translating this understanding into a clear vision for your E2E Teams to create and prioritize the E2E Teams’s backlog of work
    • Sharing information about the E2E Teams’s output and priorities with other Product Owners and (Sub)Chapter & other Leaders to ensure alignment across the organization
  • Serving as the voice of customer or end-user :
    • Representing customer needs and requirements to ensure they are well-understood and integrated into the E2E Teams’s work
    • Proactively seeking customer feedback to learn and better understand their needs and requirements
    • Facilitating product demos to empower E2E Teams members with real-time feedback from customers
  • Accountability for what is being delivered by the E2E Teams and by when :
    • Together with the E2E Teams:
      • prioritizing work through ABR, QBR, BRP and a well-organized backlog of user stories, and clearly communicating what needs to be done and by when
      • defining and clearly communicating acceptance criteria for output based on business & customer needs
    • Making trade-off decisions to balance product quality, cost, and delivery timelines, as needed
  • Supporting and enabling the E2E Teams to get its work done :
    • Offer feedback on work-in-progress, clarify requirements and address questions through day to day involvement. Stimulate an open feedback culture.
    • Engaging with (Sub)Chapter Leaders with regards to resourcing and expertise required in E2E Teams
    • Working with support functions, CoEs and other stakeholders to make sure the E2E Teams have what they need to do their work
    • Removing blockers or impediments that prevent the E2E Teams from progressing on its work.

YOUR PROFILE asProduct Owner:

  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategic positioning into execution
  • Experience working with and understanding the needs of customers or clients (internal or external)
  • Ability to lead a cross-functional team through influence
  • Proven analytical skills and experience making decisions based on hard and soft data
  • Commitment to the organization’s new way of working through greater collaboration and breaking down of siloes
  • Boldness to challenge the status quo with senior management, stakeholders and your E2E Teams
