As our Head of Finance, you’ll lead the Finance department for our manufacturing site in Puurs and develop the Finance Team through individual and functional excellence programs.

Being part of the senior leadership team, you’ll report directly to our general manager and work in close collaboration with the different departments to ensure cost efficiency for our site.

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead the execution of regional / global strategies and develop strategic long-term financial and business plans.
  • Run the budgeting process and prepare long term financial forecasts in relation to developing future strategies for the Division/Business Unit, and prepare various high level management reports on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis
  • Coordinate performance in Finance, monitor business performance against set objectives and take corrective actions, as the need arises
  • Engage proactively in external and commercial activities with the objective of driving growth, productivity and efficiency
  • Lead the implementation of risk management processes, financial compliance and controls (Business Process Controls [BPC], Internal and External Audits) and handle the correct and timely implementation of financial, purchasing and control processes and policies and ensure adherence thereof
  • Run and integrate services delivered to the organization (define processes, agree and track Service Level Agreements [SLAs]).
  • Manage market studies and financial analyses and set stretch objectives based on external / competitor benchmark.
Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
  • University Degree in Finance or Business
  • Professionally qualified Management Accountant or MBA
  • Excellent command of English and ability to learn Dutch
  • Experience: 10+ Years in Finance in a variety of functions (accounting, controlling,...)
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Leadership, Vison & strategy, change- and project management skills, political savvy
