The GPS Facility Maintenance Leader main role is to lead and manage the maintenance program and technical projects in the Gosselies Plasmid Solutions buildings

The GPS Facility Maintenance Leader will contribute to the sustainability and development of pre-clinical and commercial processes for pDNA, trough maintenance and facility activities management. This Leader has a relevant Mechanical and Electrical knowledge and cGMP background

The role

• Manages and coordinates of all facility and equipment changes
• Manages and Coordinates in a proactively manner the regular shutdowns
• Set up and coordinates an equipment and facility preventive maintenance program, including all required NOBO inspections (determination of frequency of maintenance, putting the necessary contracts in place if not the case, reviewing NOBO reports,...)
• Overseeing our key technical contractors that execute maintenance or technical project work.
• To perform or coordinate technical interventions
• To keep oversight on facility management
• Act as a Mechanical and Electrical SME
• Escalates risks and issues to the Management in an organized and timely manner and provides mitigation and CAPA plan
• Elaborate and implement pertinent tools of continuous improvements in compliance with our regulatory and safety requirements
• He/she is the interface between the GPS departments, Campus TS team and external contractors to get the assigned tasks executed in a timely manner
• He/she maintains an open and effective communication with all departments
• He/she manages action logs related to projects he/she is leading and respects the timelines;
• Organizes and manages regular meetings to ensure the follow-up of all tasks linked to his projet;
• Drafts/reviews documents related to his/her project(s) (protocols, reports, procedures, forms, instructions, …);
• Double checks project specific documents filled in by other.
• Maintenance or projects related to GMP activities will be documented into the GPS quality system
• For his/her direct responsibility, he/she ensures cGMP compliance through adherence to the quality system and feeds continuous quality improvement;
• He/she documents his/her work according to current procedures and GMP; deviations and change control procedures need to be followed.
• He/she implements and follows-up Key Performance Indicators. He/she proposes and takes appropriate actions;
  
  

The Candidate

• Master/Engineer in Science, electro-mechanical or equivalent by experience.
• At least 5 years of experience (in pharmaceutical field is a plus: ie technical support/maintenance/validation/clean room/equipment management).
• Troubleshooting, solution-oriented
• Efficient communicator and willing to bring new challenges
• Knowledge of working in a cGMP environment
• Demonstrated leadership and cross functional team spirit
• Rigorous, conscientious, versatile, open-minded & quality-minded
• Customer oriented
• Fluency in French& English : Good reading comprehension and writing skills in English.
• Computer skills: Microsoft office, expertise with GMAO tools (gestion de la maintenance assistée par ordinateur), database management tool
• Flexibility, able to adapt to changes
• Critical spirit, continuous improvement oriented
• Very strong organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
