To support the warehousing activities, Catalent Cell and Gene Therapy is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor reports to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager

The Role

• Can be involved in all stages of logistic activities (from routine activities to specific troubleshooting tasks) and follow up daily planning’s.
• Deal with team management and with specific sub-contractors.
• Generate and/or ensures finalization of documentation (procedures/instructions/forms) to perform specific logistics documentation.
• Ensure respects of EHS & cGMP rules in working area.
• Support the set-up & management of Warehouses -Logistics activites (storage locations, flows in-out etc..) for the launch of the Cell Therapy commercial production site
• Compile KPIs of the team and feed continuous improvement of the Logistic team.
• Master all parameters of Logistic processes (ie: storage rules or validation) and logistic associated tools (ie: ERP,).
• Plan, coordinate & oversight daily logistic tasks.
• Bring and support continuous improvement in Supply chain department and area of responsibilities
• Dedicate appropriate time in warehouse area to ensure all duties to perform according quality system to support logistic team.
• Represent supply chain in some key inter-departments working meetings (eg Tiers).
• Be highly trained/qualified to be a referent to train colleagues.
• Upon specific request will represent the distribution Team. Manage external meetings.
• In charge of logistics and supply interactions for customer project (ie: DP shipping, Cold storage management).
• Can support in quality and customer audits/visits
• Ensure the team is adequately staffed, trained, equipped (premises, equipment and any material) to execute required work. Share appropriately work between team members according to their competencies and workload.
• Finalize Deviation (Owner role) and CAPA for hierarchy approval.
• Involved in preparation and execution of any audits/inspection.
• Functionally lead a team of logistic Specialists and Logistic Operators.
• Ensure planning is built to restrict to the minimum extra hours. Can justify to hierarchy additional hours (out of normal day) when required. Regularly challenge resources over time based on the learning experience curve of the project.
• Will be responsible of the training matrix (appropriated matrix and effectively trained staff) of the team.
• Could delegate activities to logistic Specialists or logistic Operators.
• Perform team evaluations and individuals development plan of his team with the Manager of the department.
• Ensures cGMP implementation through Catalent’s quality system and feeds continuous quality improvement program.
  
  

The Candidate

• Bachelor level preferred (logistic, supply) or equivalent expertise
• Rigorous, conscientious, team player and client oriented
• Autonomous and organized
• Stress resistant and willing to communicate outside working hours (with US for instance)
• Flexible with good communication skills
• Open to learn and to manage new challenges
• Previous experience in the same field (warehousing and biotech company)
• To have already used an ERP system (enterprise resource planning) is a strong plus
• Experience in GMP environment.
• Certification in Supply Chain and Lean Sigma are strong plus
• Fluency in French and good knowledge of English (oral & written)
