Project

Modernizing the application landscape by introducing and managing cloud Paas components.
Governance of corporate databases, including Azure SQL Paas solutions
Supporting and extending our current middleware environment
Installing and configuring application software and managing their lifecycle
Activating and integrating cloud components within our corporate applications
Installing and configuring frameworks
Applying and extending our current procedures. Defining guidelines and best practices.
Working closely with other IT departments and/or business
Ensure service levels are met on incidents and service requests
Guard Duty participation is needed (24/7)

Profiel

You have excellent computer and technology knowledge/skills and this is already for more than 10 years
Experience with installing, configuring and maintaining applications/systems
Installation of middleware and database components and this is on premise and on cloud platforms
Knowledge of multiple cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, … . Fundamental knowledge of Azure is a Must have.
Understanding of the most common database management systems
Knowledge of Managed File Transfers and messaging components
Understanding of application servers
Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, IOT and/or Edge computing is an added value
Understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD is a Should have
You have the ability to design, implement and maintain complex architectures
Analyzing problems and trace them to their core causes
You have a stickler for accuracy
You are a team player
You speak English and French or Dutch fluently, which supports your excellent communication skills both in writing (e.g. procedures) and speaking (e.g. discuss implementations and issues)
You are eager to learn and develop yourself, you are energised by new challenges
