For the further expansion of our systems department, Katoen Natie Business Unit Consumer Goods & Industry is looking for a Product Ownerwith focus onTransport & Customs.

You will become a member of the WMS team that manages all IT projects for the Business Unit. Projects are situated in the areas of WMS, TMS, Customs, Automation, EDI, Reporting and HR.

Responsibilities:

  • You are the functional expert and have in depth knowledge of the Transport Management Systems (TMS) and transport and customs related functionalities in our Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • You will evaluate the productwith business experts and discuss and validate the business requirements
  • You will define a strategy/roadmap and guard functional boundaries of the solution (generic, flexibility, sustainable solution)
  • You will communicate& align with different people within the organization
  • You are the single point of contact toward our TMS supplier
  • You have knowledge of tendencies/evolutions in other transport systems on the market
  • When applicable, you act as the Project IT leadwithin the project team and will manage budget, time and scope on the IT-WMS-TMS part.
Your profile
  • You are eager to learn, in a broad range of fields.
  • You are flexible to prioritize according to the needs of our client.
  • You have strong analytical skills.
  • Experience in transportation systems is required, in logistic systems is a plus.
  • You are a very good communicator.
  • You have project management skills.
  • You speak/write Dutch and English.
