For our office in Grace-Hollogne (Liège), Belgium, we are looking for a:

Global Business Development Manager

As Global Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing growth strategies, building-up of market & competitive intelligence and translating market demands and trends into a solution roadmap for our mtukinetic PowerPack. In addition, you will support the global sales and marketing organization with market insights, sales argumentation, and specific case studies. In this position you will report to the Head of Sales of Rolls-Royce Solutions Liege and closely work with the Rolls-Royce Power Systems Business Development and marketing teams.


Key Tasks

  • Identification, evaluation, and further development of opportunities for growth, whether through product improvements, new technologies & business models, partnerships or go-to-market adjustments.

  • Development of market / customer segment specific growth strategies and marketing tools.

  • Build-up of market and competitive intelligence for the global UPS market and give direction to the regional sales organization

  • Identification, bundling and prioritization of global market requirements, developments and trends for UPS systems, and translation of these into a solutions roadmap and sales materials.

  • Continuous exchange and proactive communication with the global sales and marketing organization, partners and stakeholders.

  • Creation and sharing of best practice and case studies across the global sales and marketing organization.

  • Development of sales tools and argumentations, preparation of sales trainings and white papers.

  • Organization and participation in customer events, trade fairs and conferences.

Your profile

  • A technical or economics Bachelor- or Master’s degree.

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years of work experience in a similar role with proven track record.

  • Knowledge of and experience in critical infrastructure (preferably in the scope of UPS).

  • Strong analytical capabilities, innovative way of thinking as well as structured and independent way of working.

  • Strong business acumen.

  • High customer orientation as well as team and communication skills.

  • Excellent reporting skills in English, another language is an asset.
