For our office in Grace-Hollogne (Liège), Belgium, we are looking for a:
Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Full-time)
Your mission consists of concretizing the "electrical technical specifications" to facilitate/enable/ensure implementation in the production workshops. To achieve this, the senior electrical engineer, helped by his colleagues, carries out electrical studies and provides quality drawings to production in time to ensure the proper execution of projects according to the planned schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Study solutions following the specifications required by the projects, select and size the components of the electrical cabinets.
Design the electrical panels (typically, power and control panels), and supply the necessary documents (wiring diagrams, layout, cable lists, etc.) using CAD software (EPLAN).
Prepare the bill of material/BOM and provide technical support to the purchasing team.
Update drawings based on feedback from factory tests and on-site commissioning.
Support the production team during the manufacturing and testing of the panels
Support the project manager on the electrical aspect of the project.
Participate in the development and continuous improvement with the Technical Service engineers
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in technical/electrical engineering
EPLAN experience
A minimum of 5 years experience in the field
Ideally, experience in a design/engineering department and the use of design and drafting software
Fluent in French and English. English is mandatory
