Global Internal Auditor, Brussels/Belgium

Salary - €50k - €55k + Benefits

KPP is exclusively partnered with one of the world’s leading manufacturing companies who are seeking a high performing Global Senior Internal Auditor to join their international team based at their headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. This is a unique position as you will gain exposure to various departments within the vital core business functions, in addition to engaging with highly valued stakeholders around the world.

You will be traveling globally to all ends of the Earth, including South America, Africa and Asia - further increasing your exposure and growth.

This flexible fast tracked career progression allows you to progress naturally through audit, rotate into the business and/or move to over 30 countries after 2 years.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing challenging insight and offering support on audits throughout the market
  • You will take on responsibility of all sites and departments providing assurance and independent audit opinions
  • Building relationships with global stakeholders around the world to gain an understanding of key business risks
  • Identifying key risks and ensuring that they are appropriately managed using your knowledge and experience
  • Leading the development of local policies and procedures
  • Carrying out special projects in order to contribute to the audit engagement plan

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Financial Audit/Internal Audit/Internal Controls
  • Strong IT technical skills (eg SQL, Python, Oracle, Cloud)
  • A good understanding of financial cycles and corresponding control functions
  • Strong analytical and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication; verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt to different situations with the ability to prioritise importance
  • Eagerness to learn and travel
  • Ability to work in the EU
