Optimy is looking for a Global Sales Manager to join our team in Brussels, Belgium.

The Global Sales Manager will manage the global Account Executive teams in Europe and North America.

In this role he/she will report to the CRO and partner closely with the SDR Manager, Marketing Manager, Customer Success Manager and CEO.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages, coaches and leads the European (Brussels) & North American (Toronto) sales teams
  • Ensures the account executives meet and overachieve on their individual as well as their team ARR quota
  • Oversees accurate pipeline management & forecasting for his/her team on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Organizes weekly forecast review meetings with the Account Executives & CRO
  • Hosts and organizes the quarterly business review meetings for his teams
  • Ensures the sales team meets its daily prospection activity and engagement objectives and actively supports them in doing so
  • Actively support the sales team quota with helping to close deals.
  • Ensures all necessary sales enablement materials (such as scripts, email templates, cheat sheets, etc) are prepared
  • Ensure all sales tools are properly leveraged (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Gong, ZoomInfo, Bomboora, ...)
  • Ensures all team members receive regular and ongoing training updates on the Optimy solutions, value propositions, sales techniques and tools
  • Ensures qualification of the MQLs and prospects is done in compliance with the mutual Sales & Marketing SLA, rules of engagement and rebate rules
  • Coaching the sales team & coordinate the sales enablement efforts for his/her team based on their individual training needs
  • Measure, analyze and report on the team’s hard and soft KPI performance on a regular basis via standardized HubSpot dashboards.
  • Ensures CRM data quality and completeness by ensuring the correct logging of all prospect interactions in HubSpot.
  • Review & manage the account sourcing & assignment process
  • Manage global Sales recruitments
  • Develops a career path together with each of their team members

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • Prior B2B sales management and team lead experience (min. 2 years)
  • A record of exceeding team quotas in previous position
  • Familiar with complex B2B sales cycles
  • Familiar with MEDDICC or similar sales methodologies
  • Sales pipeline management and forecasting experience
  • Familiar with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot
  • Strong commercial & negotiation skills
  • Strong people skills
  • Ability to articulate a strong value proposition
  • Excellent time management, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Skilled at active listening to assess team needs and opportunities
  • Data driven
  • Strong coaching skills, lead by example
  • Fluent in English and at least 1 other language (French or German)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with sales & sourcing tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Rocketreach, Gong,...)
  • Prior experience selling in North America and/or working in a North American sales organization is a plus
  • Prior experience in the IT/Software/SaaS sector
  • Able to function in a team as well as prioritize/execute tasks independently
  • Open to change and willing to learn and test new tactics
