Job Description

Ensure the efficiency of activities to guarantee the quality and productivity of the Impex department. Manage and supervise Impex Officers.
  • Ensure effective management of the Impex department: people management, system monitoring, etc.
  • Take part in people management of Impex Officers from integration to development, in close collaboration with the Impex Manager
  • Ensure invoicing control and supervision of customs declarations
  • Ensure that all company's own administrative, operational procedures and structures are followed
  • Ensure efficient and rapid handling of problems, their resolution in collaboration with the Impex Officers and Manager
  • Responsible to coordinate the achievement of set objectives (operational responsibility)
Qualifications

To be successful in the role we believe you have
  • Knowledge of specific software (ERP) as SAP, very good knowledge of MS Office (dashboards, quantified reports, …)
  • Very good knowledge of transport regulations, customs formalities and the NCTS system
  • Confirmed experience in team management
  • Reactivity and flexibility, search for efficiency, organizational skills, ability to work with short-term requirements
  • Clear communication and presentation skills and very good knowledge in French and English

This is a full-time position based on the DC Retail of Ghlin (Belgium) within Logistics Region South and reporting directly to Impex Manager.
