Currently we are looking for an IoT Administrator in Lummen (Belgium):

Our job is to power BOSAL with the best talent and technology solutions in the world. We shape, create and deliver world-class technology capabilities & solutions to accelerate BOSAL’s global growth across all functions. As the IOT Administrator, you will utilize your experience and knowledge to collaborate across workstreams to deploy and maintain BOSAL’s Industry 4.0 solutions. You will be part of BOSAL’s Global Information Technology Team while delivering and deploying solution using the newest technology platforms.

Bosal Group:

BOSAL is a Dutch privately owned company, mainly known as a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, in business since 1923. We employ about 2500 people in 16 production facilities of which the largest ones are situated in Czechia, Mexico, Spain, Turkey and South Africa.

Our company is organized around 3 business areas:

• Powertrain: in this largest BOSAL division, we design and manufacture emission control systems (cold end + hot end) for passenger cars and heavy duty vehicles (ICE + hybrid)
• Chassis: this division comprises a large range of welded and formed products going from seat frames to fuel tanks and air tanks, to towbars and jacks.
• Energy: the Energy Conversion business unit of BOSAL designs and manufactures state-of-the-art plate and tube heat exchangers for advanced power generators. We have 20 years’ experience in the area of gas turbines and fuel cell systems, not only as a supplier of components but also as a system integrator.

Responsibilities:

• Act as key technical consultant for core IoT systems.
• Prepare and maintain infrastructure diagrams.
• Perform ongoing OS, Security & Application upgrades.
• Provide Level 3 support to Operations Team to help resolve technical issues.
• Network Management: Assist network teams to configure VPNs and networks.
• Security Management: Assist Security teams to monitor, identify & resolve security threats and issues, monitor security log.
• Application Management: Perform periodic access reviews and audits of applications, support software upgrades.
• Server Management: Monitor any recent capacity issues, review server restart, monitor server system logs, monitor & review back up jobs, patch management.
• Solution performance review, monitoring and monthly reporting.
• Work closely with all IT management staff to identify, evaluate, select and implement specific information technologies that support business plans and IT strategies.

Job Requirements:

Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.
• Industrial IoT experience implementing Azure IoT Suite, AWS IoT, PTC ThingWorx or other IoT Platforms in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS.
• Knowledge of networking software, hardware, and protocols.
• Knowledge of new technologies and keeping abreast of updates and changes.
• Knowledge of project management processes and systems, ITIL / ITSM.
• Communicating and presenting fluently in English.

Experience:

• At least 5 years’ of experience in an industrial segment such as engineering, manufacturing, supply chain or logistics.
• Experience in Industry 4.0 technologies applied to intelligent factories/plants in the industrial manufacturing is a plus.
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts.
• IoT experience including rapid design, prototyping, and deployment of embedded systems.
• Experiences with industrial automation and control systems like PLC, HMI, or DCF’s.
• Experience developing compelling proposals, value propositions and business cases.
• You’re well-versed in industrial IoT sensors, PLC’s, MES, edge devices, data aggregators, and/or historian systems.
